TV series have gone from being embarrassing to cool, and series such as “Mad Men”, “Homeland”, “Orange is the New Black”, “House of Cards”, “The Wire”, and “Breaking Bad” experiment with form, content and filmic effects. We take a deeper look at these examples and explore how well TV series are constructed.
