Model Drawing

Here the human being is at the centre. We will explore the human body and its expression when being in motion and at rest. We will work with life drawing, a dressed model and drapery in drawing and color.

Model drawing is one of the classical techniques of art, and as a artist in training you must learn to express yourself with this method.

Learn how the hands, the fingers, the legs look when you really focus on them! How do they look when in motion, when posing, when at rest? That is what you will learn in this class.

We celebrate the human body and the many shapes and sizes it comes in! No body is wrong, no body is ugly! We draw the body exactly as it looks!

The school have all the facilities to teach you. We will supply you with charcoal, pens, ink, paper and all the other tools you need. But if you have your own tools at home, please bring them and use them here.

We always celebrate and encourage your own practices!

You will learn the basic techniques when it comes to model drawing, but if you have experience as an artist, you will be given assignments that match you level.

In this subject you will be taught by Mogens, who is one of the teachers in our School of Drawing and Art, where he also teaches Painting and Architecture.
