Only for students outside the Nordic countries and the
European Union.
The Danish Foreign Ministry has clear and strict rules about
entering and staying in Denmark.
You must apply for a residence permit
- VISA - in order to attend a
course at Odder Hojskole (a Danish Folk High School).
To ensure the correct
informations Odder Hojskole demands an original application form on
paper with your personal signature.
The online application form is not sufficient for you.
We can not evaluate your application before we have recived
both the online application form and the original application form
on paper.
You have to download the originalapplication form.
You have to print, fill in, sign and send it by normaly
post.
Closing date for applications from citizens outside the
Nordic and EU countries:
You have to apply at least 4 months before the semester start.
Normaly stydents outside the
Nordic and EU countries should apply for the semesters of 18-21
weeks length.
A short essay: Please enclose a short essay telling about
your reasons for applying to Odder Hojskole, your expectations for
your stay at Odder Hojskole, your plans for your future education
and occupation and your interests.
Passport photo: Please enclose 2 lifelike passport photos.
Certificate: Please enclose a copy of your certificate
Important rules for applicants outside the Nordic countries
and the European Union:
- To ensure the rules for residence permit to study in Denmark,
Odder Hojskole will keep your passport for safety's sake while you
are studying here.
- You are committed to inform Odder Hojskole about everything
concerning your application for residence permit and about your
travel timetable to and from Odder Hojskole.
- If you decide not to study at Odder Hojskole after you have
applied for and payed the total fee, we will keep the application
fee 500 DKK and an administration fee 2,000 DKK.
- We can not refund your application fee before we have received
a certificate of the cancellation of your application for
residence permit.
Applicants signature. At the application form you have to
declare that:
- I accept the above rules.
- I have read and understood the description of Odder Hojskole
from their homepage.
- All statements made on this application form are complete
and true.
- The essay enclosed is written solely by myself.
