Application form for Odder Hojskole

Please notice we have different rules for applications depending on where you come from:
Students from the Nordic countries and the European Union only need to apply online and fill in this application form.
Students outside the Nordic countries and the European Union need to apply both online here and download, print, fill in, sign and send by post an original application form. Read point 4.
Please only use standard English letters when you fill in this form. Do not use letters especially from your language.
For students from 12 new EU Member Countries:
There is a Grant Scheme supported by the Danish Government and administrated by Cirius.
We have a page here where you can read the exact rules. Please check it before you send the application form.
For students from countries where you need a VISA or residence permit to travel to Denmark:
(This does not include students form the Nordic countries, the European Union, Australia, Japan or other countries from where you can travel to Denmark without VISA or residence permit):
   The Danish Foreign Ministry has clear and strict rules about entering and staying in Denmark.
   To ensure the correct information Odder Hojskole demands an original application form on paper with your personal signature.
   This online application form is not sufficient for you.
We can not evaluate your application before we have received both the online application form and the original application form on paper.

   Safekeeping of passports for citizens outside the Nordic and EU countries: To ensure the rules for residence permit to study in Denmark, Odder Hojskole will keep your passport for safety's sake while you are studying here.
   Cancellation for citizens outside the Nordic and EU countries: If you decide not to study at Odder Hojskole after you have applied for and paid the total fee, we will keep the application fee 1.000 DKK.
   Closing date for applications from citizens outside the Nordic and EU countries: You have to apply at least 4 months before the semester start.

Semesters: Start: 15 August 2010 - Stop: 18 December 2010 - Length: 18 weeks. 17 May 2010: No more vacant International study places at this semester for students who need the Cirius Grant or need to have a residence permit to travel to Denmark. (Students outside the Nordic countries, the European Union, Australia, Japan). Start: 09 January 2011 - Stop: 28 May 2011 - Length: 20 weeks. Please write to Odder Hojskole if you want to apply for the autumn 2011 or future semesters

Subjects: Choose some of the subjects you are most interested in. Please look at the timetable and the description of the subjects. This is only a guide. You will choose you subjects and make your timetable when you start at the school and after the presentation of all the subjects.

You can normally expect an answer from Odder Hojskole at latest 2 weeks after you have send both your application form and you essay.
