Hello, I´m Gifty Asante and I comes from Ghana ,west of Africa. I´m exchange student through Dansk ICYE , from the year 2001 to 2002. The main purpose of this programme is to create a better understanding among people with different cultural background and introduce them to different culture than their own. I think is good idea to travel outside your country to know different people with different culture. Through this programme, I´ve exprience alot of things , I ´ve never come across in my life.
Infact , isn´t easy to live in foreign country without your biological family. I ´ve been encountering problems since, I´m in a country which is foreigner to me but, by the Grace of our God Almighty things are moving on well with me. For He has promised ,He´s with me wherever I go and I´m precious on His side. I´ve lovely host family named M. F. Michelsen and their lovely daughter Mia.
My feeding rested hopefully on them through my one year programme. Not forgetting my contact person, Jon G. Jakobsen, who has being my friend to guide me in every dimension of my stay in Denmark. I always remember the piece of advice i gleaned from him.
My sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to my lovely mothers, Mrs Mary Ossei and Mrs Boamah, Uncle Ameyaw, my lovely sisters, Mrs Lydia Arhin and Mabel Boafo,my christain fathers Agyamoo, pastor samuel and all ACEF Pastors, Abraham Vanderpuye, Albert Enchil, Evans Odei, all icye co-workers,Mr and Mrs Boateng family, my web design teacher, Jesper, all family members and loved ones. They´ve all helped me through my life journey in Denmark.
I can´t say more because, a large number of sheet will be required into writing, what they´ve been doing for me. May God richly bless them all.
